At a glance

  • What you can do: talk to an MCP-compatible AI assistant, such as Claude, in plain language to drive your planning, run SEO and GEO analyses, generate content, and publish, without leaving the assistant.
  • Who it’s for: content managers, SEO project leads, and any team that already uses an AI assistant day to day.
  • Why it matters: no code, no exports to manage. The assistant works directly on your real Semji data, within your existing access rights.

What changes for you

Before: every action, creating a draft, running an analysis, generating or publishing content, meant opening Semji and navigating to the right screen. Now: you ask your AI assistant in a single sentence, and it acts directly in Semji: it reads your planning, runs analyses, generates drafts, and publishes, all from a plain conversation.
The assistant only ever sees and changes data in the Semji account you sign in with. Its scope follows your existing access rights on your workspaces exactly.

What you will get

Once connected, your assistant can:
  • Manage your editorial planning: explore and filter your content, create drafts in bulk from a list of keywords or URLs, organize them into folders, and set owners, statuses, and due dates.
  • Analyze SEO and AI visibility: set a focus keyword on a piece of content, run the analysis, and get optimization recommendations for Google Search as well as AI answers (Google AI Overview, ChatGPT).
  • Generate and optimize with AI: launch AI generation or optimization on one or many drafts, follow progress, review the result, and publish once you are happy with it.
  • Stay in context: pull in your workspaces, team, brand voices, and account status (including remaining credits) so it acts with the right information.
Once connected, talk to your assistant the way you would to a teammate:
  • “List the drafts in my Spanish market workspace that don’t have a focus keyword yet.”
  • “Create drafts for these 10 keywords in my US market workspace and start the SEO analysis on each.”
  • “Run the SEO and AI-visibility analysis on my draft about ‘content marketing tools’ and summarize what I should improve.”
  • “Generate an optimized version of these three drafts, then publish them once I approve.”
  • “How much AI Writing credit do I have left?”

How to use it

1

Open connector settings in Claude

In Claude Desktop or on claude.ai, go to Settings then Connectors, and click Add custom connector.
Semji is not yet available as a one-click app inside Claude. You add it manually as a custom connector, which takes less than a minute.
2

Paste the Semji server address

Paste the following address and confirm with Add:
3

Connect to Semji

Open the newly added connector and click Connect. A window opens for you to sign in to your Semji account. If your account belongs to more than one organization, choose which one to grant access to.Once connected, you can start talking to your assistant.

Usage tips

Start with a simple request to check the connection. Ask for the list of your workspaces or your remaining credit balance before running a more complex action. Always name the workspace if you manage more than one. The assistant has access to every workspace you’re authorized on, so naming the right one avoids any ambiguity about what it reads or changes. Ask for a summary before publishing. For a bulk action (generating on several drafts, publishing in bulk), have the assistant walk you through the result before you confirm, exactly as you would with a teammate.
To get started, try: “Summarize my editorial planning for this week” or “Which drafts don’t have a focus keyword yet?”. These are low-risk requests that quickly show what the assistant can see.

Going further

The Semji MCP server is manual-add only for now, not yet available as a one-click app inside Claude or ChatGPT.
To connect ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, or any other MCP client via a JSON configuration, and for troubleshooting details (a connection that stays pending, an authentication error, switching organization), see the full technical documentation.
